Investment Requirements for Obtaining Permanent Residency in the Republic of Cyprus

Investment Options: Minimum investment of EUR 300,000 (approximately 8.4 billion VND) in ONE of the following categories:

Ownership of up to two new houses/apartments from a property development company with a total value of at least EUR 300,000 – excluding VAT (approximately 8.4 billion VND). These properties may be rented out.

Purchase of multiple commercial properties (offices, retail stores, hotels) with a total value of at least EUR 300,000 (approximately 8.4 billion VND).

Equity investment in a Cyprus-based company: the company must be actively operating and employ at least 5 staff members.

Investment in Cyprus Investment Funds (Units of Cyprus Investment Funds, AIF, AIFLNP, RAIF)

For the Main Applicant:

Must be 18 years or older.

Must prove an annual income of at least EUR 50,000 (VND 1.3 billion), plus EUR 15,000 (VND 394 million) for a spouse and EUR 10,000 (VND 263 million) for each dependent child.

Must meet the security background requirements.

Must purchase insurance covering both inpatient and outpatient medical treatments.

Employment in Cyprus is not permitted (except for serving as a Director of the company in which the investment is made for the Permanent Residency application).

For Dependents:

Children under 18; OR aged 18–25, unmarried, financially dependent, and pursuing undergraduate studies or higher.

Must meet the security background requirements.

Must purchase insurance covering both inpatient and outpatient medical treatments.
